Prayer of
Confidence to the Sacred Heart
O Jesus, to Your Heart I confide...
(a soul, an intention, a worry, a business)
Look ..., Then do as Your Heart thinks best...
Let Your Heart be moved...
O Jesus, I rely on You...
I confide in You...
I abandon myself to You...
I am sure of You...
Sacred Heart of Jesus,
I trust in You.
Sacred Heart of Jesus,
I believe in Your love for me.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, may Your Kingdom
come.
Paray-le-Monial le 6 aout
1983.
Trust Him when darkest thoughts assail thee
Trust Him when thy faith is small
Trust Him when simply to trust Him
is the hardest thing of all.
Trust Him, He is ever faithful,
Trust Him for His will is best,
Trust Him for the Heart of Jesus, is the only place of rest.
Let nothing disturb you, nothing frighten you. All things are passing,
God never changes. Patience overcomes all things;
he who possesses God lacks nothing;
God alone is sufficient.
St. Teresa of Avila
There is nothing that God will not do
for a loving, confident faith.
And even if we feel that we have no faith, Our Lady has enough for both of us.
And we have Our Lord's word for it,
that she is ours.
My way is of tenderness and love; I do not understand the
hearts that are afraid of so tender a Friend.
Well I know that I will never be worthy of what I hope
for, but I hold You tightly in my hand and I am sure that You will grant me
everything because You are so good!
I have a great faith in God who cannot abandon me; I place
everything in His hands.
We do not grow weary of asking. Faith brings about
miracles . . .
More than ever, I realize that the smallest events of life
are guided by God.
It is faith and only faith which must lead us to the
Love . . .
Jesus has the power to
make me understand that He alone is perfect happiness, even when He appears to
be absent!
Just as the sun lights up the cedars and each small flower as if they were the
only ones on earth, so our Saviour concerns Himself with each soul as if there
were no others.
Jesus teaches us that it is enough to knock so that the door is opened, to
search in order to find, and to humbly hold out the hand in order to receive
what one has asked for.
It is not to remain in
the gold ciborium that Jesus descends each day from Heaven. It is so that He can
find another Heaven which is infinitely more valuable to Him than the first: the
Heaven of the heart, made in His image, the temple of the living and adorable
Trinity.
The Good Lord does not tire of hearing me, even when I simply tell Him my
sorrows and joys as if He did not know them.
Do not be afraid to
tell Jesus that you love Him, even without feeling it. It is a way of forcing
Jesus to help us, like a child who is too weak to walk.
St. Therese of Lisieux
