Very Short Prayers

O my God, I believe in You, and all that You have taught and revealed.  Help my unbelief.

O my God, all good and merciful, I hope in You.  Help me to do what is necessary for my salvation.

O my God, I have failed You often.  I am sorry.  Forgive me for having offended You, so good and worthy of all love.

O my God, I love You.  Help me never to offend You again.

My Jesus, Who died for me, have mercy on me, save my soul.

Lord, help me to remember that nothing is going to happen to me today that You and I together can't handle.

Learning From Jesus 

If you have forgotten how to love, you might pray -

"Sacred Heart of Jesus, I implore that I may ever love You more and more."

If you are insecure and anxious -

"Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in You."

If you are sensitive and resentful -

"Jesus meek and humble of Heart, make my heart like Yours."

If you have too little time for others -

"Sacred Heart of Jesus, Thy kingdom come."

For your own sins and mistakes -

"Sacred Heart, have mercy on me."

For others -

"Sacred Heart of Jesus. May you be known, loved and imitated."
